The closer you go to the edge of the universe, the more things start to unwind and break. This means, planets on the outer outer edges get Very strange and ill get someone to write this for me

THE EVIL SPACE GOVERNMENT. there are actually two of these, at war with eachother. This means . smstsh they need resources.and using planets as fuel. and think planets are bad and spacecrafts are more superior. and smth smht esg leaders.

Marshell is the navigator and handles communications (very badly) for the Spaceship 'The Wayward Voyager' a crew of (sometimes) bounty hunters on the run from the Evil Space Government.
Spending most of his childhood as a street urchin on the Mud planet of Beltloss, he took the first opportunity to leave he joined the military with the promise he would make something of his life. He served for a few years until a mission sent him directly investigate a small tear in fabric of the universe. Looking into this tear allowed him to understand everything about the universe, giving him the kind of knowledge morals do not have the mind to comprehend, this (obviously) drove him to partial madness resulting in im gouging out his own eyes in order to save himself from viewing it any longer. He was soon discharged from the military and returned to his home planet.
Eventually he stumbled onto the wayward Voyager which is in dire need of a navigator and his extended knowledge of the universe makes him very good at this.
He's a pretty odd guy but he means well, he's can be really cryptic under the assumption that the people around him know what he's going on about (they don't)

CRAYON IS THE CREW MECHANIC!!! this bug is my oc so i have a bigger page on them here
Crayon used to live on a small isolated planet where the fabric of the universe was very thin. This resulted in some of the weirdness from beyond to leak in, not a lot, but enough to make the lifeblood of the planet quite powerful.
The ESG found out about this and began to take over and harvest their planet for resources, taking crayon as a live test subject for further research. EVERYTHING SUCKS BEING A LAB RAT!!!! Whilst captured, crayon makes one friend, a bug like them, called circuit, who they eventually make plans to escape with. It goes... poorly. crayon getting seperated from its friend and horribly injured.
It makes it out though! and its found by the wayward voyager. It convinces them to take it home, but by that point their home is practically in ruins, so it decides to stay with the crew that saved it, in the hopes of finding circuit one day.
